ARCTIC AIRMEN MISSING

(Received oth December, 2 p.m.)

VANCOUVER) 4th December. Nome (Alaska) states that the pilot Eielsou and his mechanic Borland, have been lost for a fortnight. All efforts to locate them have friled. Pilot Dorbandt and Eiolson recently made two trips to the steamer Nanuk, which is ice-bound off the North Cape, Siberia and brought to Nome furs worth a fortune.. Eielsou became lost on the third trip, and there are serious fears that ho has been starved or frozen to death, though there is always the possibility of the intrepid Northerner hibernating with tho Eskimos somewhere during the remainder of the winter.
