MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. K. rase, S.M., dealt with police wises in tho Magistrate's Court this morning. Charged with the. theft of a lady's handbag and money, of a total value of £1 Ss 7d, the property of Evelyn Brury, William Wallace Clifford, on the application of Senior-Sergeant Ward, was remanded until Wednesday next. Mr. Ward said that there were other charges to be made against Clifford. Kobert Forbes tfeid, alias Kobcrt Mason luissell, aged 35, was charged with having obtained credit by fraud at Hastings. Chief Detective Lopdell said that no instructions ivere to hand from the Court winch issued the warrant, and he asked or a remand until Tuesday next. Other local charges would be made against the accused. The remand was granted. '
