YOUTHFUL TRAIN ROBBER

VANCOUVEB, 26th November. At Cheyenne, a youthful bandit wrecked a. Union, Pacific passenger train by pulling the spikes from the rails and then, single-handed, lined up and robbed 40 passengers, obtaining £1000 in money and jewels. "I have a wife and two kids, and the railway won't give me a job, so I'm going to take it anyway," said the robber, jabbing the ribs of one fat passenger with a revolver. Nobody was injured when five cars were derailed, but the repair bill will exceed £10,000.
