(Eeeeived 27th November, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 26th November. The Billiards Control Council has decided not to alter the original conditions of the championship, which will therefore be played at Thurston's. Lindrum and Smith have commenced a fortnight's time-limit billiards match. The scores now are: Lindrum,'in play, 2237, including breaks of 1057 and 451; Smith, 1664, including breaks of 652 and 324.

At Belfast, in a fortnight's time-limit match, M'Conaehy has scored 1798, including breaks of 760 and 574, and Newman 1445, including 224.
