ALEXANDER MINES RETURNS.
' The report of the ' Alexander Mines, ilitd., West. Coast, for the month of October .states that the battery crushed 272 /tons of ore for a yield of 3060z 7dwt of melted gold. The cyanide process treated 218 tons of sand for a return of 82oz 9dwt of bullion. The total estimated value is. £1430. The report from the mine is considered promising.
