MOTOR-CARS BURN
FIRE CAPTAIN- HELPLESS

AUCKLAND, This Day.
When motoring along the PanmureKohimararua road about midnight on Saturday, Captain G. J. firadley, of the Papatoetoe Fire Brigade, discovered a motor-car in flames opposite the spot where Elsie Walker was -Dund dead. He could "do nothing but let it burn. Half an hour later, while "driving back from Kohi, along the same road, Captain Bradley found another ear burning on the side of Mount "Wellington. Nobody was seen near either car. The former car has been.'reported to have been stolen. The ownership of the latter has not yet' been traced. '
