JERUSALEM CUP
Johnsonville green had' a gala .appearance on Saturday afternoon, when seven riuks from Khandallah tried conclusions 'with, the local club. Four rinks from each club played the first series for the Otto Jerusalem Cup. This trophy is at present held by the Johnsonvills Club, and is held each year by the club winning the most games in each of the three series. The games arc keenly contested and are looked forward to by members as being the most enjoyable'played- during the season. On tbis occasion the laurels went to the Johnsonville Club, who were successful in winning: three .out"of the four games played. The remaining three games were of the friendly : order, and were also much enjoyed by the participants, victory going to Johnsonville in two out of three. A daLnl-- afternoon tea dispensed on behalf of the club by Mesdames M Rutzky, J. Dutton, and A. C. Thomson, was much appreciated.
