FINED FOR GAMBLING

John William Hopkins, aged 36, and Herbert idward Langridge, aged 40 a salesman, were arrested this morning in an office alleged to be a common gaming house^ Before Mr, F. K. Hunt, SM.il the Police Court, the police stated that Hopkins was employed by a principal whd was absent. Hopkins had not been betore the Court previously, but the urinesPal s business was an extensive one lne Magistrate said as the principal had been previously charged before, he would treat the case as if he was again before* the Court, and fined Hopkins £100 ans costs.
