HUTT VALLEY AWARDS

Ihe results of the judging of the Hutt \ alley Horticultural Society's Summer Show, held yesterday, are given below, llie judges were Messrs. C. F. Pilcher, T. \V. Attwood, and G. A. Chapman. The award for the champion bloom o£ the show was secured by Mr. E. Anstis ™a fine specimen of "Una Wallace." lv.H.b. silver medals were awarded to the Lower Hutt Borough Council Scenic Reserves Committee, for its brilliant stand of shrubs and flowers, and to C. F. Pilcher and Son for their trade display; R.H.S. bronze medals to Mr. H. Poole tor a trade display, and to Mr. H. E. Edwards for a collection of pansies and violas; and R.H.S. certificates to Mr. E. L. Kiddiford (antirrhinums), Mr. D. S. Patrick (rhododendrons), and Mr. W. H Barker (trade display). , Points Prizes.—Open Class: Roses, Mr. James Bell; amateur class, roses, Mr. •J. W.
