EMPIRE THEATRE, ISLAND BAY.
. Another excellent British film is to be screened at tho Empire - Theatre to-night. The story of "Mrs. Brown From Chicago," concerns a young man destined for a profession, who failed in his final examination. Bather than become a fashion expert he runs away. When he returns he Is a married man and a father. Unfortunately he hides both facts. His wife Is Introduced to his father's house as a temporary housekeeper, ami the fathor falls in love and proposes... The complications that arise are Indeed amusing. The cast Includes Dolly Grey, Eve Spencer; Ralpph Roberts, and Andre Mattout. The supporting programme has been: well selected.
