"_ MASTERTON, 20th November. «. £• ann r ual meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co.-was held to-day, presided over by Mr. J. J. Bryce, chairman of directors. J-ne annual report showed that the surplus of. assets over liabilities had increased from £72,166 in 1923 to £155 933 in 1929. As the result of increased business new records had been made in both trading and commission departments. The net profit" for the year amounted to a record, and the substantial sum of £15,527 The payment of a dividend of 7 per cent' on capital of the company called up and paid wilT absorb £7250, and £2000 is to be added to the reserve fund _Jhe retiring directors (Messrs. E. Eagle, G..L Marshall,'and A. Stuart) were reelected. .
