When through fog and darkness the airship ElOl returned to her mooring tower at Cardington last night she had flown for 30 hours, covering over 1000 miles, and still had sufficient fuel remaining for a further 3G hours' flight. She has now completed satisfactorily all her major trials, and yesterday was on two, three, and four of her engines and was turned at selected speeds in circles of varying radius. Several rainstorms were encountered, and for hours only fleeting glimpses of the earth could be seen through fog. ilajor Scott, officer in charge of the flyi,ng trials, and Captain Irwin, commander of 8101, were extremely satisfied with her performance.
