The number of cases of infectious diseases reported for the week ended yesterday in the hospital districts of the Wellington health district remains at about low-water mark, as will be seen from the following figures:— WanganuiHorowhenua: Scarlet fever, 2 (7); diphtheria, 3 (0); tuberculosis, 3 (1); pneumonia, 1 (1); puerperal fever, 1 (0). Wai-rarapa-Hawkes Bay: Scarlet fever, 2 (6)----diphtheria, 1 (1); enteric fever, 1 (1); tuberculosis, 1 (1); pneumonia, 3 (3); puerperal fever, 1 (1); eclampsia, 2 (0). Central Wellington: Scarlet fever, i (3); diphtheria, 1 (4); enteric fever, 2 (0); tuberculosis, 2 (4); pneumonia, 2 (1); erysipelas, 2 (0); eclampsia, 1 (2). NelsonMarlborough: Scarlet fever, 3 (3): tuberculosis, 1 (0).
