PIANOFORTE RECITAL.

An attractive programme is to- bo presented at the pianoforte recital to be given by ounils of Miss Valeric Corliss in the Concert Chamber to-night. Tho list of composers ranges from the period of 1674 to that of the present day, and includes many nationalities—English, trench, German, Russian, Finnish, and Hungarian. The programme lias been arranged with a happy consideration of variety and balance, and while the works to be performed include a number of well-known compositions, there Is besides a refreshing list seldom heard ln the concert hall. The students who are to present this interesting programme are in some instances already known to Wellington audiences, who have shown much enthusiasm over the art of these pianists. Those who attend this recital are promised an evening of delightful music. Tho proceeds will be given to the Residential Nursery, Women's National Reserve The recital commences at 7.45 p.m. '
