DUNEDIN, 17th November. In a fast, exciting bout at the Drill Hall last night, Farmer Vanee (12st 31b) defeated "Wai Johansson (lost) by two falls to one. Johansson secured the first fall in the third round, but Vauee evened this up in the fifth, after weakening his opponent, with deadlocks. Johansson was very groggy when ]fe came out foithe sixth round, and Vance easily pinned him after tossiug him over his shoulder The winner was given a great ovation. : '
