(Received 15th November, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 14th November! The Dominions Office dismissed as sheer speculation" the revival of the old rumour that Sir William Birdwood would be the next Governor-General of Australia. The matter of Lord Stonehaven's successor had not even been considered yet.
