That application should'be made to the Public Works' Department for exemption of portion of Tamar street from the provisions ,of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a 10ft splay at the corner of Taniar street and The Parade, Island Bay being dedicated to. the council free of cost, was a.recommendation' made by tho Bylaws Committee of the City Council last night.
