FARMERS1 DISTRIBUTING,
The New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Co., Ltd., reports:—We submitted a catalogue of 424 bales to the largest attendance of buyers that has ever graced the ben•hes. Wo catalogued some choice lots of hog.;et wool from Wairarapa and Feilding districts, and these made prices well up to, and in some instances higher than anticipated by growers and brokers alike. Lincoln and strong cfossbreds were In demand and sold at higher relative values than the finer grades. Crutchings and oddments of all descriptions met with keen competition, but down wools were not wanted except at low values.
