The annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the London Missionary Society was held at. the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church. The annual report showed a very creditable year's work. A special -feature was the sending of Christmas gift parcels, for distribution, to Miss May (India) and Miss Edmanson (China), both of whom on joining tho'London Missionary Society were members of the Wellington Terraco Congregational Church, and to Mr. and. Mrs. Eastmaa (Gilbert Islands). The treasurer's report showed that a substantial amount for the general work of the L.M.S. had been forwarded to headquarters. Mrs. W. West Knowles, a member of ths auxiliary since its inception twenty years ago, and always a smeero and enthusiastic worker, was unanimously elected a life member of the auxiliary. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mrs. H. Johnson; vice-presi-dents, Mesdamee D. Jones and W Millsecretary, Mrs. W. M. Haycraft: treasurer, Miss E. A- Knowles.
