STRANGE STORY
A "HYPNOTISED" PAIR
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, This Day. A man and his wife, who stated that they had been hypnotised, were found wandering aimlessly on the platform of the Auckland railway station early this morning. After being taken in charge by the police they were examined by two doctors who ordered their committal to an Auckland institution. .
The man and woman came- under notice of a police official. He saw that they were in a dazed and apparently bewildered condition. The man said that he and his wife were residents of Waihi. He had been a miner at Waiht for many years. They had come under the influence, of an hypnotist a few weeks ag6, and from that point the man's memory was by no means clear, but he remembered boarding a train -in" company with his wife to come to Auckland.
