CHBISTCHTJECH, This Day. The Metropolitan Trotting Club's Meeting is being continued to-day. The attendance is large, the track in good ; condition, and the weather fine. Results:—
Whiteleigh Handicap, of 350 soys; 3.32 class; one mile and a half. 2 Lazarus, 24yds bhd, 1; 10 Peter Lin. scr,. 2; 3 Dolores, 24yds bhd, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 3min 25sec.
Derby Stakes, of 1000 soys; one mile and a half. —3 Purser, 1; 4 Eoyal Silk, 2; 2 Ngingo Ngingo, 3. Altestarted. Won by half a length. Time, 3min 22 l-ssec.
Courtney Handicap, of 1000 soys; 4.30 class; two miles.—s Dilworth, ser, 1; 2 Maiwhariti, ser, 2; 4 Torpedo Huon scr, 3; 8 Pluto, scr, 4. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 4min 26 see.
