COMPLIMENT TO WOOLLEY
(From "The Post's" Representative.)
LONDON, 10th October. A great compliment, remarks Dr. A. J. Harrop, in tho "New ZealandNews" of Bth October, has been paid to Mr. F. E. Woolley, the England cricketer, who left with the M.C.C. team for New Zealand. "Hearing that Mr. Woolley was taking his wife with him, as eho has been in indifferent health, and also his small daughter, an Australian newspaper cabled an1 invitation to Mrs. Woolley and her child to bo its guests during the team's preliminary tour in Australia.
. "As the New Zealand Cricket Association stipulated that Mr. Woolley should be a member of tho team, we hope that New Zealand will pay him a similar compliment. His great record both on and off the field fully entitles him to it."
