Time, lmin 54 3-ssee. Spring Handicap, of 300 soys; five furlongs.—2 Princess Betty, 5.3, 1- 7 Pharaoh, 7.8, 2: 3 Ball Dress, 7.3, 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 0 l-ssec. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Otaio Plate, of 350 soys; one mile and a quarter.—9 Dolomite, 7.7, 1; 3 Latin Quarter, 8.10, 2; 7 Amor, 8.11, 3. Scratched: Quarter Deck. Won by a neck. Time, 2min 54 4-osec. Canterbury Cup, of 800 soys; two miles and a quarter.—l Chide, _9.0 1; 2 Concentrate, 9.0, 2; 4 Seatown, 9.6, 3. Scratched: Swoopalong. Won by two lengths. . Time, 3min 5G 4-ssec.
