Caught broadside on at the Albert street level crossing by the south bund main trunk express which was threequarters of an hour late, a motor truck was lifted about ten yards and then thrown clear. The driver, F. H. Mills, had a marvellous escape, receiving only superficial cuts. The lorry was wrecked, and the contents smashed to pieces.
