SYDNEY, This Day. A radio message has been received that the Bretagne, bound .for Samoa from San Francisco, has been totally lost. It is assumed that the crew are safe. It is thought that the mysterious S.O.S. received by the Bluff station was from "the Brotagne. ■ There is a doubt about the ship's identiy. It may be the Danish motor-ship of 3177 tons, or an auxiliary schooner, of 1028 tons. Both bear tho samo name.
No word has been received in WeL lington to-day identifying the Bretagiic. .
1906. Officials deelincd to comment on tho question whether the demilitarisation will constitute" a feature of the projected London Conference.
