The United States' acceptance of Great Britain's invitation to the London Five Power Naval Conference next January was announced at Washington yesterday. The reply expresses the belief that the conference "will unite the Powers signatory to the Washington Treaty in a discussion which will anticipate problems under Article 2XI. of Treaty and broaden its whole scope by the inclusion of other.categories of ships." ■ ■
