KING'S THEATRE.
A story of high-class society and high-class crooks, entitled "Pleasure Crazed," is the main attraction in the change of programme at the King's Theatre. "Pleasure Crazed" concerns three crooks, two men and a girl, who, working as a gang, decide to rob a certain Captain Dean and his pretty wife of a stock of very valuable jewels. For the purpose, the crooks rent an expensive mansion, which they lease to the Deans, and the girl of the gang is installed as housekeeper. It Is her part to make preparations for the robbery, which Is to be completed by the men of the gang. Fortune favours the operations of the crooks through the attraction the captains' wife holds for a famous polo player, and luck comes the way of the gang when the mansion becomes deserted one evening, each of the parties having an engagement. At the last moment; however, events take an unexpected turn when Nora, the girl crook, decides not only to save the jewels, but to save the life lof the captain. A thrilling motor-car race follows, and the story comes to a conclusion in an unusual manner. There is a strong cast, which Includes Marguerite Churchill, Dorothy Burgess, and Kenneth M'Kenna. The programme includes a Fox Movietone News, "The Land of the Stork," a dialogue and singing featurettee, "In a Music Shopp," and a two-reel comedy, "Beneath the Law." '
