,A musical service to commemorate the flftyflrst anniversary, of the appointment of Mr Robert Parker as organist of St. Paul's ProCathedral, was given by the choir of St. Paul's on Thursday evening. The programme Included the cantata."God Thou Art Great" (Spohr) the soloists being Mrs. Alexander (soprano), Mrs. Irwln (contralto), Mr. C. A. Williams (tenor), and Mr. Graves (bass); trio, "Creation," Mrs. Alexander, Messrs. Prouse and Williams ; "How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling-place" (Brahms) ; "Give Ear Unto My Prayer" (Arcadelt) ; organ and piano selection, Mr. Parker and Mrs. Steers. Mr. Robert Parker presided' throughout at the organ.
