GUESTS AND TILL ROBBED
FIFTH.TIME- THIS YEAB
Australian Press Association—United Serrle*. « ™BW YORK ' 7th October. o Sam Fiddle, owner of Palm Gardens Boad House, .Chicago, has been robbed so often, that it was no surprise to get a fifth visitation this year at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning, when tKe leader of the Eobin Hood band announced his presence by rising from the wine table and firing a volley into the floor. Sam merely sighed, opened the cash register, and stood aside while the leader cut short the syncopations of the orchestra, and with a hundred guests lined against the wall, the robbers expeditiously removed £300 from the till and took £1000 worth of jewels from the women. Instead of, backing out of the doors the sis robbers ordered drinks and' smokes for overybody in the house. When the bandits withdrew the victims found the ignition of all the nearby; motor-cars disabled, so pursuit was hopeless. . '
