The tenth year of matrimony is the most dangerous, according to an analysis of the Registrar-General's report on divorce. Formerly the eighth was considered the riskiest. Despite the older generation's belief that presentday youngsters marry thoughtlessly and divorce without delay, early annulments of marriage are rare, and 'becoming rarer Not one marriage in ten thousand is dissolved in the first year, the majority of • divorces being sought by people long married. Only 14 per cent, of those married for five years are divorced, while those married ten years and over show 52 per cent.
