t (Received 7th October, 8 a.m.) LONDON, 6th October. iTlic dinner to the Victoria Cross men over which tho Prince of Wales will preside has been fixed for the House of Commons for 9th November. The difficulty, is to find thorn. It is known that five hundred are living, but they are shy of coming forward.
The Prince of Wales, speaking at a meeting of ex-service men at Portsmouth, said that tho most important lesson learned during the Great War was that thoy should take'care there was no question of a^ chance of another war.
