FIRE IN HOPPER STREET

/The Fire Brigade was called at 10.45 on Saturday night to an outbreak of fire at 16, Hopper street, a five-roomed house of two floors occupied.by Mr Charles Wilson and. owned by Mr A E Preston. A bedroom at the rear of the house was damaged by fire and'water and the other rooms on the first floor suftered slightly from smoke. Mr. Wilson, in endeavouing to extinguish" the flames, was affected by the smoke but he recovered without having to receive medical attention.
