PORIRUA CLUB
A general meeting of the Porirua Cricket Club was held this week. Dr. Macky occupied the chair, and there were present somo twenty members, t Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Dr. Gray; president, Dr. Williams; vice-prosidents, Dr. Russell, Dr. Mucky, Dr. Marshall, Dr. Robinson, Messrs. Owen, Quill, Brown, Nairn, Hunter, Anderson, Hnlcrow, M'Kcuzie, Tough, Russell,' Kennedy, and Sunley; management committee, Messrs. Goldsmith, Morgan, Treweek, T. Clark, and Hughes; selectors, Dr. Williams, Messrs. Morgan and Clark; captain, Mr. Morgan; vicecaptain, Dr. Williams; scorer, Mr. Boyde; delegate to association, secretary; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. J. Baunin.
The prospects for the coming season appear bright. . ■ . .
