INCREASE IN REGISTRATIONS
During the last two days there has been a marked increase in. the number ? f, mea _nrlo have registered at the .Labour Bureau, Wellington, the figures jumping from 274 to 588. On 10th December last the number who registered throughout the Dominion was 1788, but since that date, with tne exception of fluctuations due to holidays, the number steadily increased till it reached the peak on Bth July when the figures stood at 3896.
