SAWMILL DESTROYED

INVEROABGILL, This Day.

Lindsay and Dixon's sawmill at Lora Gorge was completely destroyed by firo at noon yesterday. A large quantity of butter boxes was also burnt. The flames spread so rapidly that it was impossible to save anything. The loss is about £4000. There is no insurance.

The City Engineer has been instructed to furnish a return of private streets and rights-of-way in the city carrying vehicular traffic, showing widths, lengths, and numbers aE properties served.
