SKATING.
Day and evening sessions will be held daily in the Winter Show Building Rink, and a great opportunity presents Itself to those wishing to become proficient In the art of skating. Specially chosen instructors are always available for beginners. The management at all times wishes to assist those endeavouring to learn this healthy pastime.
Eecently Charles Henry Hogg, of Wellington, petitioned the House of Representatives asking for compensation for an alleged injury received whilst employed by the Post and Telegraph Department. The A to L. Public Petitions Committee reported yesterday that in its opinion the petition should be rei'ererd to the Government for favourable consideration.
