VEGETABLE^ GARDEN.
_ Sow now .carrots, beet, radish, parsnips, omons, swedes, and soft turnips. Mase sowings of peas every two or three weeks to keep up a succession. htaka peas before thoy get too tall Plant out cabbage, broccoli, 'early cauliflower, sage, thyme, and parsley. bpray potatoes before earthing thorn Draw the earth up along the rows of peas before staking. Earth up cabbage and cauliflower to' prevent them being twisted about. FLOWER GARDEN.1 Sow in boxes for planting out later asters, zinnias, salvias, cosmos, petunias, salpiglossis, cockscomb, and ccloIn districts which are warm, chrysanrheniums may bo planted in well- j prepared boda. I Plant out seedlings of phlox drummondi, calendula, antirrhinums, Iceland poppies, violas, pausies, and stocks. Any of tho hardy annuals may bo sown, outside.
