Skysign opened the proceedings by running seven furlongs on the course proper in lmin 40sec, the last half-mile taking 22 l-ssee. .

Pink Note was sent alone over seven furlongs, the last five in lmin v' l-ssec, and he could have gone faster hud he been wanted to.

Dumblane did a strong working gallop over seven furlongs, and showed to advantage on the firm going. Bitractor, ,who is growing into a big horse, just headed Salmo Salar at the end of five furlongs on tho plough in lmin Qsec.

"Royal Saxon, with his trainer in the saddle, conceded Waving Corn fully a etone over five furlongs, in lmin 6 4-ssec on the outside of the course proper. It was a good gallop, and both horses look better for their racing at Orari last week. Tembroney, liatata, and Solmnr went once round on the plough, and sprinted home together over the last half-mila in 57 4-ssec.

Stealth and Top Speed took lmin 38 2-ssec on the course proper to cover seven furlongs. The latter, who is a lazy worker, ran inside the trestle at the top of the straight, and was ridden out with the whin and finished in front.

Assemble took 57 2-ssec to run half a mile in company. The Rosenor colt ran three x furlongs in 40sec by himself," and Dressy (Last DartAll Style) and Royal Raid took the same time in company. Both gallops were on the rails.'

■ Black Duke and Francolin took the same time to run three furlongs on the outside of the course, and the former has come back looking very fresh after his short let up. '

It is not likely that either Narrative or Glenrowan will be raced at Kurow, next Saturday. ■
