The final big Kugby football match 6f the season was played if Athletic Park this afternoon between teams representing New . Zealand and the Maoris. For the occasion, which is regarded as one of the main preliminaries to the selection of. New Zealand's representatives for next year, ■ the weather was excellent and there was a large attendance of spectators. Except for M'Phail taking Steere's place, there was no change in. the New Zealand team, but owing to tho non-. appearance of "W. Eika the Maori team. was not definitely finalised until "this afternoon.
