DISCOVERY, IN AFRICA

MAN FRIDAY OF STONE AGE^

DIPRKT OF HUGE HUMAN FOOT

Australian Press Association.

(Received 2nd October, 12.30 pjn.)

. CAPETO"WN, Ist October. An Italian scientific expedition has returned from Bulawayo with the report of finding a stone imprint of an enormous human foot at Limpopo. Four imprints were discovered of an unknown man, showing anthropoidic tendencies. The distance from the heel was 3i centimeters, and the greatest width 14 centimetres. The foot was distinctly the type, of the man probably responsible for the large stone hand axes found in Africa, which hare hitherto baffled the scientists.
