Commenting on a correspondent's warning against motor-cyclists pestering youne girls to go "joy-riding," "Motor-Cyclist" suggests that a warning should be given to motorists to resist the glances of many of the girls in the city. He suggests that "Fair Hay" should visit certain.suburban, roads in the city to realise that one-sided condemnation is unfair. "Observant" .again raises the question o£ ■whether sufficient safeguards are adopted, in the matter of protecting food against dirt and germs. <The correspondent considers that sufficient care is not exercised by those who handle food and drinking cups and glasses, and asserts that he has seen assistants "breathing on spoons, tumblf ft ,?}%i i*l order to effect a better, polish. !
