Cable advice has been, received, from Sydney that the TJlimaroa, which left at noon yesterday for Wellington, carries 512 bags of mail from Australia and 161 parcel receptacles, also 72 from other places.
In Taranaki Street Methodist Church tomorrow the annual home mission services will be held. The morning service will be conducted by the Rev. T. It. Richards, and the address will be given by the Rev. Robert Hatldon. In the evening the Rev. A. J. Seamer (general superintendent o£ home missions) will be the preacher. Associated with Mr. Seamer will be several of the Maori party who are travelling in the interests of home missions. The Maori party will sing in their native tongue.- The Maori chief will also'take part in the service. Visitors to the 'city are cordially invited. The Rev. A. j. Seamer and Maori party will hold 41 special service in the Brooklyn Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
A loop railway line is to be made from a point west o£ Karagateli to Adrianoplo so that the Orient Express can enter Turkey without crossing Greek territory.
