FELT IN CANTERBURY
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
OHRISTCHUECH, loth July. A sharp shock of earthquake, the most severe since the big shake of 17th June, was felt at Christehureh at 5.30 this evening. No damage has yet been reported, and it is improbable that the shock was severe enough to cause damage to buildings.
