APPRENTICE'S APPEAL
The Arbitration Court to-day' was engaged in hearing an appeal by Konlaid A. T. Bound, of Newlands, Johnisonville, against his discharge from hia employment as apprentice by the Precision Engineering Co., Ltd., Kent terrace, Wellington. The appeal was I made on the grounds (1) that the only i reason given for the discharge was alleged disobedience and insolence, of which plaintiff asserted that he had not I been guilty; (2) that the, only particular charge against him was1 for failing to close certain doors, whereas he asserted that the doorß were closed before he left the workshop that day; and (3) that he had been discharged through the enmity of a foreman who, ho alleged, had blamed him for things he had not done.
