CEMETERY DESECRATED

(Special to "The Evening Post.")

CHRISTCHURCH, Ist July. The Anglican section of the old Barbadoes Street Cemetery was raided on Saturday evening by vandals, presumably boys. About thirty graves wero desecrated. Head stones were either pushed over or broken off a few inches from tho base. The shafts ,of other monuments were broken. Tho damage was done chiefly near the chapel. Some years ago the cemetery was the scene of similar desecration by a group of boys.
