FOUND DEAD

When walking with some friends in i'alliser road, Roseneath, on Sunday evening, Lewis Bmns, a married man, aged 66 suddenly dashed away into some bushes! and could not be found. Yesterday his dead body was discovered lying at the foot ot <he old quarry, near the Orient Hotel, Oriental Bay, with the- head badly battered. The deceased, who lived in Palliser road, had been employed in the Post and Telegraph Department for the past fifteen years. He had been under treatment for nervous disorder for some ikae. An inqnest is to be held.
