HELP WITH CLOTHING
The response to the appeal for clothing _made by the Wellington Bed Cross Society on behalf of sufferers: in the stricken areas has been good, and eight cases of clothing have been sent to Nelson for distribution. The Wellington Society is in close touch with those responsible for the distribution in the afieeted districts, and when the ;neea for more clothes has gone the public will be notified. \
The Bed Cross Society has been asked to undertake the work of taking up a collection at the lecture to be given in the Town Hall on Tuesday night by Mr. H. B. Holland, M.P., and thirty nurses have volunteered to do the work.'
