A FATAL CRASH

NEW YOKE, 28th June. The noted woman pilot, Viola Gentry, was severely injured -when her 'plane, in which she was attempting an endurance flight, plunged 2000 feet when the petrol was exhausted and struck a tree. Miss Gentry is expected to recover, but her co-pilot, Jack Ashcraft, the famous dare-devil airman, was killed instantly.
