THE FAIRY RING
DEAR ONES, A picture has come to me from one who loves Our Ring. It is of a small corner of a library on die far side of the world. The ceiling is a blue;.dome like a night sky, and painted on the curved Avail a lovely maid lies sleeping.-': About her-dance-all the small creatures of the .ands of Faerie, and above her hovers a slim boy spirit holding aloft the Umbrella of Dreams. It is the Children's Reading Room. And every afternoon a Teller if Tales sits under the magic canopy and weaves delight for them. Libraries are so often places where we may sit chilled and stiff and comfortless, hut in Stockholm at least the shining Realms of Story can be explored with, beauty all about. ..'/ ./-.,. /■;v; ; ■;■■■;.■;:>■: ; <^^
