FEILDING STOCK, SALE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FEILDING, 28th. June. At the Feilding stock sale to-day there ■K-as a fairly large yarding of fat sheep and a medium yarding o£ store sheep. Ine prices for fats showed an easier tendency, owing partly to the fact that some of the pens were stocked with, sheep that should have been put in store pens, and partly owing to the large yarding'of fat ewes. . "Woolly fat lambs sold at 23s 9d and 24s 8d B. fat lambs from 20s; for.-poor lines to 17s 7d; best offering fat b.f. ewes went np to 30s 3d; other lines of poolquality sold up to 225; up to 29s 6d was obtained for best; wethers ranged from 6J!s 4d to 30s, and a pen of extra prime-brought 335; two-tooths b.f. sold at 295. Store Sheep.—Fat and forward ewes, 22s 6d- cull ewes, 10s 6d; two-tooth ewes r.w. Hcmuey rams, 34s 9d and 40s 2d; b.f.,hoggets, 19s 7d; six-tooth ewes r.w. Southdown rams, 31s; four and five-year ewes r.w. Southdown rams,. 27s Id and 28s; m a ewes, ditto, 23s 6d;-white face wether lambs, 23s to 23s sd; b.f. lambs, 17s and The dairy cattle pens were only lightly stocked, and entries were not of the best quality. Springing heifers made up to £11 for the best offering. Other lines sold at from £6 to £8; September calvers sold at £5 10s; second calvers, £6 17s 6d; for best springing cows, £10 15s; other cows in calf, from £0 5s to £6 10s; weaner heifers, from £2 5s to £4 16s. There was a small yarding of. store cattle. Shorthorn cows sold at £5 ss; other lines of poor quality went at £1 10s. Only a few pens of fat cattle were offered. Fat Jersey cows brought from £4 10s to £5 12s 6d. P.A. heifers sold at '£8 16s: There were no bullocks offered. ;
